Hi there bookaholics!
My name's Charlotte and I'm the goof behind EponaReviews. I love to read and I love to write also, I hope to be within the publishing industry when I fly the nest!
On this blog I'll be reviewing books, posting book covers, trailers, author interviews and plenty more!
My contact details are listed below :) Any questions? Ask me! I don't peck! (Y'see what I did there? Yeh? Most people say "bite" but I said "peck" because of my birdy-style blog? *sigh*... I'll just shut up now, tehe!)

Review Policy
I'm happy to accept books (including self-published) from authors and publishers, both physical and e-copies. I am currently not accepting novels in 3rd person and ONLY accept novels within the YA range (genres will be listed below). I do not have to review any book and I ask that you allow 3 months for a review before chasing it up.
Genres: Dystopian, apocalyptic, romance, contemporary, sci-fi, paranormal.
Congratulations on your impressive and very cool book review site! Hoping you'll find the time to review my novel Purple...looks like you've already got a long to-read list! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I've just received your email! I'll check out your book now :) Thanks for following me!
ReplyDeleteVery nice site, Charlotte. I'll be sending you an email soon for a review. I'm pretty sure you're swamped with requests, so no hurry :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I look forward to it. :)
ReplyDeleteJust out of curiosity, why the restriction on 'third person' POV novels but not 'second'? I always found second person (usually present tense) really tricky to read, whereas most literature is in 3rd person. Just curious!
ReplyDeleteHi, :) Well I love first person so I'll always accept that. :) I actually prefer writing in present tense but I enjoy past tense too, I'm not fussy in that respect. :)
ReplyDeleteI've only read one novel in second person (present tense) and I thoroughly enjoyed it but I can't judge "2nd POV" on one novel so I'm keeping it open until I can decide whether or not I enjoy it as a whole. :) As for 3rd person, one of my favourite series is written in 3rd but the author has a unique writing style and wrote the character's thoughts in italics every now and then so it sort of felt like first person, I loved it so much but as a whole I can't enjoy a book in 3rd person. I struggle to connect with the characters and I feel excluded, I feel as if I'm reading a book (unlike with 1st/2nd person where I can lose myself in the story) which defies the whole "escapism" aspect of reading.
It depends on the story, author etc but as a whole I struggle reading 3rd person. I hope that answers your question. :)
Thanks for commenting! :)
I just don't think it's fair to review a book in 3rd person for an author because I know I won't enjoy it 100% and it would have nothing to do with their writing, so my review wouldn't be fair, y'know?
